Environmental Management

Graphic Print Group has embraced the philosophies of the European initiative Eco-Management Audit Scheme, which is rapidly gaining acceptance as the new benchmark for environmentally responsible manufacture. Whilst we respect and follow the practices of ISO14000 Environmental Management Certification criteria, the more balanced outlook of the EMAS principles are preferred in dealing with Manufacturing and Environmental Management issues.

Graphic Print Group are keenly aware of the importance of minimizing the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes. We use vegetable based inks and non-toxic coatings. Paper waste is collected for recycling, as are items such as printing plates and plate processor chemistry. Solvents, liquid waste and non-recyclable materials are collected by approved waste disposal contractors. Graphic Print Group are FSC accredited.
